Different Walks of Life, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Ms. Arizona Sims-Curley to our Board of Directors. Ms. Sims-Curley brings with her a wealth of experience, leadership, and a strong commitment to community service.

A proud native of Sussex County, Virginia, Ms. Sims-Curley dedicated 25 years of distinguished service to the Virginia Department of Corrections (VA DOC) before her retirement. Throughout her tenure, she held multiple leadership roles, including 911 Supervisor, where she managed emergency communications operations and personnel with professionalism, precision, and care for both staff and citizens alike.

Following her retirement, Ms. Sims-Curley has continued her lifelong passion for helping others through her work in early childhood care, nurturing young minds and supporting families within her community. She is also the proud mother of two sons and the loving grandmother of two beautiful granddaughters, who continue to inspire her dedication to mentorship and service.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ms. Sims-Curley is actively involved in community service initiatives, always seeking new ways to uplift and support those in need. In her spare time, she enjoys home remodeling projects and photography, both of which showcase her creativity, attention to detail, and appreciation for transformation and beauty in everyday life.

Her commitment to excellence, compassion for others, and strong sense of civic responsibility make Ms. Sims-Curley a valuable addition to the DWOL leadership team. We are confident her insight and dedication will further strengthen our mission to empower individuals, support families, and inspire community growth.
